Code of Conduct

The code of Conduct outlines Saveway‘s expectations of itself and its business partners with regards to ethical and legally compliant business practices, human rights, worker’s rights and environmental protection. The code applies to all Saveway’s Business Partners, including suppliers, distributors, agents, resellers/traders and joint venture partners. Business Partners may be required to complete self-audit assessments, external and additional training if required. By entering into an agreement with Saveway, the Saveway Business Partner agrees to the following principles and practices. At Saveway, we are committed to being considerate of people and the environment. We focus on the health and safety of employees and creating safe workplaces.

Ethical and legally compliant business practices of Saveway and Saveway Partner’s

We comply with all applicable laws and regulations wherever we operate. We do not engage in or tolerate any kind of forced or involuntary labour, modern slavery, trafficking, or other human rights violations. We do not engage in dealings, directly or indirectly, that involve a breach of sanctioned regulations, including those issued by the EU and the US. We forbid and refuse to support money laundering in any form. We respect the intellectual property, patents and rights of others. We protect confidential and personal information.

Environmental Sustainability

In our operations, we use resources sparingly and mitigate our impact on the environment by reducing, reusing and recycling. We strive to conserve natural resources through innovative processes, continuous improvement methods and invest in energy saving technologies.

Human rights and worker’s rights

We set up and use an appropriate Health and Safety management system and provide our employees with a safe and healthy workplace in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. We limit dangerous work and night work to persons over 18 years of age and do not employ children. We promote equal opportunity and treatment for our employees irrespective of religion, race, national or ethnic origin, cultural background, social group, disability, gender, sexual orientation, marital status, age, or political opinion We respect the personal dignity, privacy and rights of everyone We refuse to tolerate any unacceptable treatment of employees, such as sexual harassment or discrimination. We provide fair remuneration and guarantee the applicable statutory minimum wage. We comply with the maximum number of working hours pursuant to applicable laws.

Supply chain

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that our Business Partners comply with this Code of conduct or a code that contains equivalent terms. In this context, we also refer to our GTC and the provisions of the Supply Chain Act contained therein.

Emergency Preparedness

We are prepared to respond to emergencies that could affect our operations or the health and safety of our employees. Selected employees are trained as first responders, safety officers and safety engineers.
